Which Lenses, Glass and Transparent Parts Can Be Assessed for Automatic Wiping?
Wiping is not limited to lenses. Transparent consumer-electronics parts and glass panels can be assessed, but a material name cannot replace sample testing.

HULK ROBOT assesses automatic wiping, cleaning and pre-film preparation for precision surfaces. Optical lenses, lens elements, phone covers, screens, other transparent consumer-electronics parts and glass panels can be discussed. One untested configuration does not fit every product.
Why assess different glass parts separately?
Dimensions, flat or curved geometry, coatings, contamination and downstream requirements may differ. Explain both the material and the required cleanliness, rather than providing only an appearance photograph.
What information is needed?
- Specification range, drawings or photographs.
- Material, coatings and surface-damage limits.
- Samples to be cleaned, acceptable parts from the current process and acceptance criteria.
- Existing handling, target cycle time and downstream film-application requirements.
How are cleaning results confirmed?
Agree on inspection methods and acceptance standards, compare before/after results and verify repeatability. Cycle time should account for handling and consumable changes, not just wiping motion.
See the automated surface wiping machine for equipment photographs and applications. The process and configuration depend on sample assessment.
