Resin Lens Edging: Chamfering, Capacity and Chip Collection

HULK ROBOT's resin lens edging machine supports programmable upper/lower chamfering, separate or simultaneous A/B-side chamfering and chip collection, according to company equipment documentation.

What does approximately 900 lenses/hour mean?

This is a standalone-machine reference figure, not a uniform commitment for every specification or an integrated line. Lens dimensions, chamfer requirements, feeding and process waiting affect actual results. Provide the target product and acceptance conditions together.

Edging machine vs. edging loading/unloading

The edging machine performs machining; the loading/unloading machine transfers material. They are different modules and their capacities cannot be added. Check cycle times, trays and transfer arrangements when combining them.

What should be checked for chip collection?

The equipment description emphasizes collection and reduced entanglement/blockage. Evaluate collection results, cleaning and maintenance under the actual material and continuous-running conditions. This does not mean maintenance is unnecessary under every condition.

What should be prepared?

Provide lens specifications, A/B-side chamfer requirements, current handling, target cycle time and samples. Processing results, capacity and acceptance conditions are subject to tests and the technical agreement.
